The interview was an onsite interview lasting about 3 hours. There were three forty five minute technical questions sessions divided by topic including mechanical design, firmware design, and fabrication. The last forty five minute was general questions about the company and culture fit.

It was an interview with 4 people: senior level engineer, manager, university recruiter, and another manager. However, I only had 30 minutes with each person which led me to think there wouldn't be any technical questions since people I know say you usually have an hour with each person if there are technical questions. I was wrong and I didn't really study for the interview since it was finals week. I didn't really have time to ask questions with each person after the interview either. I wish I had more time to think over the given technical questions. They mainly went over past projects so make sure you know EVERYTHING about your project, the ins and outs. The interview wasn't bad or hard, I feeI like I could've done better in the interview if I studied for it and reviewed my projects. The university recruiter gave me a call and told me why I didn't get a job which was disappointing but I appreciated it a lot more than a generic rejection email or just no reply back at all.
