J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Internet Brands (Los Angeles, CA) en août 2017

      Entretien

Do not waste your time with these people. I had a phone interview, 3 in person interviews, and did a case study which required an entire day of work. Got nothing but positive feedback the whole way through. Interviews all went really well, one of the interviewers told me my case study was one of the strongest he had seen. At the end of everything their recruiter said she would have an offer for me within a couple of days. Then, nothing. No response to my thank you e-mails. After another follow up e-mail I finally I got a response from the recruiter which was incredibly vague and forced me to read between the lines and figure out that it wasn't going to happen. No explanation. If she had given me a firm "no" and the reasoning behind it I would have at least respected it even if I disagreed. I deserved that much after all the time I invested in their interview process. Reading the other reviews, I can see this is a very common story. I'm mystified as to how anyone ever gets hired here.

J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Internet Brands

      Entretien

I was contacted through a recruiting agency who put me in touch with the internal recruiter. The internal recruiter has been part of Internet Brands for less than a month. As I was going through my experience and projects it was pretty evident that she had no idea about design or the questions she should be asking to make sure if I am the right candidate. I am appalled that recruiters at this firm are given that amount of control to review candidates. She did not do a good job of marketing internet brand neither did she know how to handle/ask technical questions. It seemed to me she was going off a couple of question she had written on a paper. This has been the by far terrible experience in my experience of interviewing. I wish I was connected to a team member directly than wasting my time explaining to a person who has no idea how to assess.
