Most people would often say that the first impression is very important, this is infact true and works both ways. I came to realise this after my interview with Intercontinental Exchange in London. As a Londoner, most people I come across goes on minding their own business and would not even dare to smile or look at you, it may sound harsh but it's the truth. Whilst I was waiting at the reception, everyone that walked past me gave me a smile and I even received a compliment. (ps. I didn't know that Jimmy Choo ICE and a hint of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino could spark a scental explosion!) As my interview was running late, I was starting to get nervous whilst trying to remember everything about ICE and the technical questions they may ask. Suddenly, I recalled the compliment that I received 15 minutes ago, this made me feel 100x better, more confident and less nervous. The interview must have went on for at least two hours, but it felt as if I was there for an hour. The questions were challenging but at the same time, I never felt so relaxed and confident, I was enjoying it. It was such a pleasure to meet the team (Mentor, Manny, Brid and Robert) and learning more about ICE Exchange, Data Services and Tech Stack. My overall experience was an absolute 10/10. Lastly, I couldn't be thankful enough to Sam and Patrick from Montpellier Resourcing for their hardwork, encouragement and support. Thank you for having me ICE. No response after interview. After various emails and phone calls to HR, no one had the common decency to reply to my queries. It was only until 5 weeks later that someone even bothered to reply. That's after chasing them. Fair enough I wasn't chosen. But after making the effort to attend the Interview, and not even get a "No thanks", email shows a lack of professionalism.

First Interview with the Recruiter about the process and introduction. Second Video Interview with Hire Right, comprises of 4-5 behavioral questions and 35 technical questions of Linux, Operating Systems, Networking and general programming concepts. In total there were 40 questions. For behavioral questions, need to record the answer in video. After one week of Hire Right interview, recruiter contacted me for onsite Interview at Church Street, New York. It was conducted for an hour with the IT manager and head of IT department. Both were decent and asked me some technical questions and about my experience.
