Lots and difficult requirements for a low-ball offer. The schedule was long, they expected to work extra hours for no extra pay, they demanded a very updated portfolio (even if the managers didn't have one for themselves) and at the end, the offer was below market level. There is this feeling that design roles are such a "privilege" to work, that you must accept the overload and underpaid salaries.

The interview was online through Zoom. For some reason, my connection was terrible that day and I think that really harmed my chances. Unfortunately, I was not able to reschedule. Besides that, the interviewer was very casual and seemed interested in hearing about my work.
