Largely dealt with the recruiter and the CAO/Co-founder. While both were very nice, I wouldn’t say the process was so smooth or professionally run. The CAO frequently trashed reviews on Glassdoor when talking about ongoing retention issues at the company, and totally dismissed all concerns when she could tell that I had read some.
If you want to do a better job of recruiting and hiring, treat your applicants well and respect their questions. At a certain point, the dismissive and condescending attitude toward young people leaves them with a very sour taste in their mouth. So much for Integrity. Seems like it’s just marketing, and really bad marketing, at that.
