The interview was literally 5-10 minutes long and was more just the person asking logistical questions. Had to fill out competency based questions on a form. It would have saved time if they made us do this from the beginning as part of an online application. This is what most companies do now. I applied for an ESOL tutor/admin role but was actually told that the role involved teaching English Functional Skills. This isn’t a major problem as I am qualified to teach ESOL and functional skills. However, I think it’s very duplicitous to advertise a role as ESOL but then for it to be an entirely different subject.
