Received a call from HR Discussed by resume and skills Had two openings but after speaking placed me with the IT side Scheduled interview where I met with HR and Hiring Manager. The Hiring Manager asked most of the questions and at times when I was answering he went off camera. He described the role which essentially was a project manager role with a ba salary. I didn’t get the offer. HR advised two days later that they were looking for someone with a bit more technical experience.

Question 1
I think I was asked about 10-15 questions, a lot more technical questions rather than behavioral questions. Started off by giving me two mins to to talk about my resume from my first role and then 3 minutes hiring manager wanted me to spend discussing my current role. Give me an architecture plan of your current role. Basically he wanted a blue print of my day to day activities at my current job. Describe a release strategy that you were involved in. Based on all the projects, you’ve worked on your entire career, provide me with a list of documents that you’ve worked on. Asked me about how I estimate a project! What do I look for in a manager? What demotivates you? How do you measure success ? After this HR asked me to describe my understanding of the role.
I had my first phone interview with the recruiter a day after applying for the position, but I did notice that the recruiter actually looked at my LinkedIn profile. My second interview was with the recruiter and hiring manager. Then they sent me aptitude tests to complete the following day. Overall process start to end was about 2 weeks.
