Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn. Did phone screen interview first. Simple question. Cleared it. I was invited for onsite interviews. They cancelled my onsite interview one day prior saying they have hired a new VP of engineering and lots of re-org are happening. They told me they have put a hold on hiring for now. Looking at their behavior, I was skeptical about their team’s future so I did not pursue much afterwards. After 1 month, the recruiter sent an email, called me twice in a day and messaged me desperately. I decided to give it a shot. Went for onsite interviews. Interviews went pretty well. They asked me salary expectation at the end and said that they will get back to me within 2 days. The recruiter never got back to me with the decision. She responded with a generic reject email after 35 days (and that too only when I sent an email to them asking about it) I think they do not have much funding tbh and that’s why the recruiter said they put a hold on hiring in the first place. Don’t waste your time interviewing here! Not worth it!
