It was a bit drawn out but the people I've interviewed with have been very helpful and thorough with the prepping before the start of training. The recruiter I worked with was very prompt with his email response and was happy to offer any suggestions and advise. Once I did the phone screening with him he told me I'd be contacted in a couple of days for a face to face interview. I was switched last minute to another interviewer who was very inquisitive with questions but overall seemed nice. The facility is very nice and seems that the workers can dress casually.

I have applied multiple times to executive-level roles at Instacart, including positions in their healthcare division, where my experience and qualifications were directly aligned with the job requirements. I bring decades of senior-level healthcare and business development experience across multiple verticals, yet I was consistently overlooked without being given an opportunity to interview.
The application process is lengthy and invasive, requiring answers to highly personal questions that have no bearing on professional skills or ability to perform the job (e.g., sexual orientation, gender identity, pronouns). While candidates are told these questions are optional, it is hard to ignore the fact that choosing not to identify with a particular group appears to immediately disqualify experienced applicants like myself.
Equally frustrating, the company takes more than a month to return an automated rejection, with no meaningful feedback. This lack of professionalism and transparency leaves a poor impression of how Instacart values candidates and their time.
Instacart has an opportunity to improve by creating a more equitable hiring process that evaluates candidates based on qualifications, leadership, and relevant industry expertise, rather than unnecessary personal disclosures. Until then, I cannot recommend Instacart as an employer for seasoned professionals.
I went through first round phone interview with them. When I asked how's the company culture. She replied " It's ok" in a very nonchalant manner. It sounded like she didn't enjoy working there.

Interview Process was straight forward, 1 with hiring manager, then an excel activity then 1 more interview afterwards. They were all within a week, and decisions were sent out extremely fast, overall a pleasant process.
