GHOSTED - 6 months of "application in review" I applied to a job and networked with multiple recruiters to get in touch with the correct recruiter for Marketing roles. I finally had an initial interview/screening with a recruiter where I received a glowing review and was invited to interview for multiple roles. I never heard about those interviews, despite following up with the recruiter about 6-7 times. I continued following up and finally heard back months later to learn that those roles were filled. I was presented with another position to interview for and then experienced the same exact thing again. The applications I filled out OVER 6 MONTHS AGO are still marked as "Under Consideration". Recruiting team: I understand that work gets busy, but giving false hope to candidates and ghosting them is inappropriate and damaging to any potential candidate.
