A company recruiter reached out to me on via social media regarding a Small Business Consultant position. I said I was interested, and a phone meeting was set up. Once on the phone, the recruiter said he was filling a position for an Outside Sales Consultant role. Their office was not open locally and I would have to travel to a remote location, training would be in person and future meetings would probably be at this remote location until a local office opened. Not once was there any conversation about zoom meetings or use of technology. The recruiter provided information about the salary and pointed out it was non-negotiable. There was too much focus on the need to be on the road mostly, instead of getting to know more about my background. I would have been more interested in speaking with the hiring manager on how business development, expectations, etc. works in this territory.

The interview with the recruiter was straightforward and efficient. Had nearly answered all my questions before I could ask them. He described the company as very involved in the community and charitable.

The interview process was easy and straightforward. The recruiter was always in contact and very quick to communicate. Overall, a positive process. Keep up the good work and you will continue to have good talent.
