I received a call from a corporate recruiter and quickly went through 15 minute phone screen and moved onto a 1:1 interview with a Sales Manager.
After multiple pre-interview prep calls with my recruiter, it was stressed each time that the interview is meant to be conversational, very much personality-based, and centered around the idea that you are interviewing Insight Global as much as they're interviewing you. I prepared 10 questions: 4 in regards to the position and 6 that were carefully crafted to be much more conversational and specific to their sales territory. Each time I tried to direct my questions towards conversational topics, the interviewer immediately shut down the conversation thread and made statements along lines of "We only hire roughly 1 in 50 college grads."
Insight Global is really a great company, but I have to say I was very disappointed with interview process. It felt entirely the opposite of conversational. Be prepared to talk faster than you ever have in your life!

Small talk is the most importantly part of the interview process. They hire soley for personality and drive so if you show you can be natural with conversation that sets you apart.

easy just have to know how to small talk. they look for depth in your answers and how you can push yourself to be better. they just want to see that you can drive the conversation and be curious about the positon. no experience necesarry.. easy but tbh toxic work env iroment

The interview process was like any other interview process with a recruiter. I ended up backing out, but it seems like they want people who are excited about the company and the role.
