Very simple process. Like a coffee chat. First ask about why insight and why you want to go into data science, then you do a project walkthrough. Asks a few technical questions.

Entretien
There is a bit of a lengthy application that you need to fill online to apply. Next step is a 30 minute technical interview call. You demo a data science project and you show'e your code (screen share). I was asked why I chose a particular validation method and not a different one type questions. At the end of the interview, interviewer mentioned I would get my result within 2 weeks. Couple of days later I got an invite for another round of interview, this time with the program director, for 15 minutes. She just wanted to know more about why I want to join Insight and what I expect out of this program etc...Next day morning I got the acceptance for their data science program in silicon valley. They are very professional and thorough and helpful during this process.

1. Why data science? Why Insight? What companies/area would you want to work after the program
2. Why did you chose your validation method? Why not Precision score?
3. Have you worked on basic statistical methods like ANOVA or you worked only on machine learning algorithms?

Entretien
The interviewer started by introducing himself and his work, and then I did the same. Then he asked me to present my showcase. But when I was doing so, his attention was somewhere else. He was looking down (maybe checking his phone). He did not ask any question about my code, did not challenge me at all, and did not give any suggestions or feedback. It seemed he was in a hurry and reminded me that the time is ending before letting me ask a very quick question at the end.
Two days later, I received the rejection email. I politely wrote if they can provide feedback, but they did not answer me back. I don't mind getting rejected, but it's not too much to expect an interviewer to be a good listener who asks challenging questions and follow-ups.
