J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Innovative Designs for Education (Ramsey, NJ) en mars 2021
Entretien
The process began with a brief phone interview, followed by the completion of an in-depth application. After the application was submitted and reviewed, the next step was a group interview, which was a cross between a collaborative work session and group discussion. If the you moved to the next step, you would be involved in a 1:1 interview. Overall, the process was time consuming, but reflective. The group interview was actually enjoyable.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Innovative Designs for Education en janv. 2023
Entretien
Started with a short 30 min phone interview. (Only times slots were after 7 pm, which may be a bit of a red flag for those looking for work life balance). Prep for that meeting included reading the 1st chapter of a few IDE books. Followed by an extensive written application (~9 pages worth of questions due within 2 business days. Including answers this came out to ~15 pages) After that a collaborative group interview with a few other candidates. This included ~4 stages. 1. A discussion on the future of education among the candidates. 2. A creative lesson planning session. Candidates selected a random object from nearby, then designed a single lesson incorporating each of the random objects. 3. A short pitch for why one of the other candidates should be hired. 4. A short individual writing sample (which picture represents your idea of learning?)
