Interview consisted of a 3rd Party phone interview company out of California, where the standard prequal questions were asked, to see if my answers matched my resume, and to do the personality "good fit" drill. During the phone process, and as stated on my resume that they retrieved from an online job site, SALARY RANGE was specifically discussed. I was a bit surprised, but "the client wanted this" (information) before a 1 on 1. Okay, I passed the phone test. *Keep in mind, the salary range was established!* I was given an appointment to meet with a disheveled man at the store location, who was beyond ready for retirement, and had the interview skills of an old shoe salesman. Basically, I ate him alive and he offered me the position ON THE SPOT.
