Series of phone interviews. First with HR, then technical managers. HR was amazing and completely sold me before I even met the tech team. Warm, friendly. Tech team does grill you, but completely relevant to the skills for the position. Overall, enjoyable to talk with and put me at ease.

The initial interview took place with a developer who asked me to take him through my resume. Although I thoroughly described my experience in detail, he kept asking questions about areas in which I did not have as much experience. After I told him that I had not been building APIs in 3 years, he asked me to name all the RESTful verbs and arrogantly laughed at me telling me 'you don't even know that?' when I struggled to remember something I specifically told him I had not worked with in years off the top of my head. The second round involved a skills test with two developers who could not help me log into the remote desktop to take the test. The directions from the recruiter were to download the Microsoft Remote Desktop app, and that the interviewers would issue further instructions during the interview. The interviewers on the second round did not know how to use the software and we needed to reschedule the interview. During the rescheduled interview a few days later, the same thing occurred where the interviewers could not provide direction on how to log onto the remote desktop server. I was never able to take the skills test and left with a bad taste in my mouth for this company disappointed I wasted my time with them. Don't waste your time and move on to better opportunities. The people here are not developers first, they are GIS technicians who do not have what it takes to even interview a candidate with a computer science background
