I was contacted by Talent Recruiter who find my resume for a job position as sales media executive. Happy to be in touch for a job that seems really great in travel industry was really exciting. - First pre-interview by phone who went well we schedule a date for a interview in face to face with HR Manager. - The HR Manager is absolutely lovely, and it was a really nice moment with her. During 45 minutes we talk about the job, my experiences. I have experience in B2B sales perfect. I have a very good knowledge of Fashion and Beauty industries but I also aware of the other environment. It went well, and we schedule the 2nd interview in 2 days to meet the manager of the team! - 2nd interview, great moment with the manager who told me that my background in fashion and beauty are great because they can't succeed to close deals with those brands in France! Perfect but I also say that I also very curious and I can sell advertising to food, travel, sports and everything. Not close only to fashion and beauty. - Next step recording 4 videos (One for whom I am and one for selling my BF in French and in English) I also need to find 20 companies (It's a lot.) with name of director's marketing and number. (they're not dumb we work free for them, how to used people) and we schedule a Pitch by Phone who I need to sold an advertising to one of this companies) - Pitch work well, I have many compliments about my job and how I succeed. - Well, we schedule a final interview with CCO, so I came back for the third times! Same it's gone well and HR told me what I needed to tell, on what I need to insist and everything! But Also I stay myself and sold me to the CCO. Everyone is happy about who I am and what I can bring to the team. And finally 3 days later we told me that it's a no!Too bad because it seems to be a really good company but taking candidates for puppets it's not really acceptable! Maybe someone was also in to compete for the job he was better than me and that's completely fine! But no the reason is "the area that you want to work we don't have any position for now for you" WHAT? And you can't tell me that after my first or second interview? No, I need to do all the process, gives you free work and just ejected like a toy! Too bad because it seems to be a really good company but taking candidates for puppets it's not really acceptable!

The hiring manager I believe was the head of sales as well. Read several reviews in regards of the working life in Ink well it sounded really great when I’ve read the reviews coming from Ink Global. But that was Ink Global however in Malaysia/Singapore I find my interview experience is somewhat overwhelming. The first phone call interview was great the recruiter was very straightforward and she even congratulated me when I passed the first stage. However, the second stage was what I did not expected. The interviewer asked me to tell something which was not in my cv. I was stunned at first as it was something I was not prepared of but nevertheless since it was a sales role I had prepared a pitch deck to share my pitching skills with the interviewer but upon asking if the interviewer wanted to see my pitch deck I was rejected. The interviewer then asked several questions regarding the company and I did manage to answer most of the questions since I’ve did my research about the company. But things fell apart when the interviewer straight away mentioned that I am not the candidate she is looking for. I am fine with the rejection but its just the way she said it makes me uncomfortable. She mentioned that she’s looking for a “hunter” whereas in her eyes I was a “farmer”. I did asked if training is provided for this role she said yes. However upon asking if she could turn a farmer into a hunter she said not with you. When I asked her to define and give me a better view of hunter vs farmer she proceeded to search for the terms on the Internet. I then thank her for the opportunity and we ended the interview session. I somehow felt distressed the way she was emphasising on how she felt I was not the one she’s looking for. Anyways I wish nothing but the best for the company

I was contacted by an internal recruiter (who interestingly also claims to be Life Coach) for a vacancy. After having read through the job spec I've immediately turned down any further conversation as I've never come across a more toxic work culture and such little regard for employee welfare as there was on display here. Looking for employees with no life outside of work? Looking for employees who are constantly in a state of fear when going about their work? It's absolutely beyond me how anyone could possibly consider exposing themselves to such an environment, desperation would have to be extremely big, and I do not understand how renown businesses who claim so much on CSR can fund this kind of culture amongst their suppliers through their contracts. The response of said recruiter/life coach spoke worlds as well by the way when I asked her to remove my details from their systems.
