I appeared for the Infosys technological Interview on last week of November after talking with the recruiter. I had an video interview with Technical Manager who had been working for 15 years in the different technological field. The interview went swiftly and I was confident that it went good and I was hoping to get an offer. Interview was on Saturday and I got an email stating I was selected on Monday. Then the recruiter told me he would get back to me with salary details to finalize the offer. I was excited and had shared good news with my friends and family members. Since it was Thanksgiving week I was not surprised that recruiter did not contact me for 4 days but then on Tuesday after Thanksgiving he told me that there had been some mistake and only one panel member was present during my interview, and according to Infosys policy 2 members should have done the evaluation and even though everything was ready and printed they could not extend an offer to me. They told me to appear for an interview again and it had nothing to do with my technological proficiency but rather the mistake on their part. In that moment I knew something was going on but I still agreed for an interview. But they did not send me an interview confirmation. I reached out to the recruiter and he told me that panel has declined the interview. I was like, Who does that?? This was the height of the unprofessionalism and one of the most cruel thing one could do especially during time like these, COVID. Thus, no offer rescinded. This position was for North America (Texas). I currently live in California.

First round interview asked questions about my technology background, location and how knowledgeable I am in for this role, was fairly simple questions. Did not hear back from them after.
