After an initial screening call, I received a direct interview invitation from Infosys for the iOS Developer position. The interview consisted of a single technical round focused on iOS fundamentals, Swift concepts, project experience and problem-solving skills. One coding question asked was "Longest Substring Without Repeating Characters." The interviewer(Gaurav) also discussed my previous projects and asked fundamental software engineering and iOS-related questions. The interview was professional and interactive and I was able to answer most of the questions confidently. Although the discussion went well from my perspective, I was informed later that I was not selected. No detailed feedback was provided regarding the rejection.

Once our profile is short listed they scheduled an technical interview in which they asked basic questions in ios. I was rusty and didn’t perform well in the interview and got rejected in the interview.

The overall interview experience was average at best. The interviewer’s attitude felt disinterested and unfriendly throughout the conversation. It seemed like they were in a rush to complete the interview rather than genuinely engaging with my responses. There were moments where it felt clear that the interviewer was not actively listening or showing interest in the answers I provided. This left a negative impression, as a more interactive and respectful dialogue would have created a better experience.
