first they send an email to book a time for the phone call interview and kept postponing and changing it more than 3 times which is unprofessional, then in the interview the questions were very general without being related to marketing as a field

I had an interview at the Vietnam branch in April 2025 and the experience was awful. I had to go through three interviews, and in the end they told me they needed to check my references — and that if everything was fine, I would be accepted.
My former boss and teammate took the time to provide detailed references, and I even had to send my previous payslips for verification (which is definitely not normal; the only acceptable time to request payslips is after an official job offer).
After all that, I was completely ghosted by the recruiter. I tried reaching out multiple times, but never received a response.
I was also made to wait in a crowded pantry full of boxes before meeting the interviewer. Overall, the process was very unprofessional and unethical.

Does my experience match with what they look for in the position?
Fast process. First had a call with a recruiter, then an interview with the manager and an employee. After that I had to do a case study and present it in my 3rd interview.
