      Entretien

      It was quite swift; after the initial interview with the recruiter, I later took on an assessment that included a series of questions and a task to complete. Finally was a virtual meeting with the hiring manager and a team member for further questions and getting to know each other.

      Re-scheduled 2 times for a first video interview, the webcam of the recruiter could not be turned on so we proceeded with voice only. Within the first days they gave me a generic mail saying that they will not proceed with my application. I am a Romanian in Zagreb, Croatia with over 3 years of experience in sales within UK, Germany and Denmark, I had all the skills required for this job but unfortunately it was not enough for them or I don't know, perhaps the fact that I am not speaking Croatian. Anyway, I heard that the management is quite bad, salaries even worse, but I said to give it a try....well it was not worth.

      Hole selection process was positive and promising, but at the end, it was so unprofessional from the company side, it left a pretty negative impression on me and disrespectful. The selection process consisted of three interviews. All interviews were via video call. First one was HR screening interview with common questions: Why are you interested in this position, Can you describe what you will do based on the job description, Why are you leaving your current job (if you are), What do you know about the company, Tell something about yourself and your experience. Second interview was with perspective team leader and HR. The questions were quite similar like in the first one, but more based on what company is doing, what products and services are they offering, their placement on the market etc. I suggest reading their entire official site and the case studies for better understanding of their products and service, since everything is quite similar at first and it takes a bit more of a deep dive to notice difference between products. Before the third interview, I had to prepare an assignment. The assignment consisted of 3 parts. Explain how 2FA for API works, find a protentional prospect for the company and sales pitch presentation. The last interview consisted of presenting assignments in front of HR, a potential team leader, and head of sales. All the interviews went great, and the assignment too. Even if we put aside my subjectivity, I don´t think it´s far from good. The final conversation ended with a positive note. After that, they told me to send them recommendations (which they did not contact) and that they would contact me within a week with the decision. After that, no one called me anymore, they didn't even respond to my follow up email. I was quite disappointed, because I expected a lot more from the multinational company, especially because I came to the end with the selection rounds. I would even settle with an automatic rejection e-mail. Unfortunately, I know that I am not the only one, because I know a few candidates that where ghosted just like me after the final interview. Anyway, I hope that this feedback will help someone and that they will have more luck than me. :) Good luck!!
