I applied a wrong job, and then HR re-approached me, offering an opportunity to join as a Senior Pricing Analyst instead. I went through 5 interviews: the HR, the BI head, two business users, and the HR. There was a toefl-like english test and medical check up.
Although the process was quite smooth, I was a bit concerned that I may not the right person for the job as they didn't give me a technical test to test my data query skill using SQL. The business users only asked to submit examples of my my data visualization, and I only got an oral description what my position will entail even though I have asked them for a written job description.
I had an impression that the people at this company allow people to grow and learn despite you don't have a 100% matching background as the business users kept saying "you can learn X later".

- interviews with business users and BI head - English test - medical test No technical test at all. I later knew why, they didn't know what they were looking for. The role was an analyst role, but they asked me to make a reporting ecosystem from a scratch. The red flag was the medical test. It was unacceptable. They never informed me the result and what they tested. A quick googling will reveal what Qatari companies usually looking out when screening candidates: HIV status. This is a massive violation of privacy and human right and dehumanizing one. I absolutely don't recommend anyone to work at this company as they discriminate candidates based on HIV status.
