the hiring process at Indiana university will be slightly different depending upon the nature of the job applied for. For me it was a phone interview followed by an on campus visit with a tour of the facilities. I received a formal offer shortly after the phone interview so the campus visit was largely for my benefit, but this is not the norm .

The interview that I had was a very relaxed conversion about the work that I would be doing, so there weren't really any difficult questions.
Skype interview first, then a campus visit that included meetings with faculty and teaching a class. Stayed in a hotel on campus, which was comfortable and convenient. Visit included a tour of the campus as well as some of the city. All the benefits and responsibilities were clearly laid out.
