I was referred to the position by an employee in December 2019. January 14, 2020, H.R. called to schedule phone screen on January 20th. Afterwards, I send a thank you note.
In February, I was called for an interview with the hiring manager.
Feb 20, 2020: 1st met with H.R. (same as phone screen) and was asked many of the questions asked during the phone interview. She said this should be the last set of interviews unless the hiring manager changes her mind. That night I sent a than you note to both.
2nd: Met with the hiring manager. Great conversation & report. It went a bit over, as we discussed places to go with children. She said needed to fill role in 1-2 weeks & wanted people back, in that time frame, to meet 3 clients & the rest of the team.
Feb 27th: No word, so left message for the H.R. interviewer. No reply.
March 4th & 11th: emailed H.R. interviewer & hiring manager for update. No reply.
Due to COVID19 lock down, I waited until mid-April for the dust to settle, then left a message & emailed both parties again. No reply.
I waited 2 more weeks, then emailed both parties again. No reply.
The 1st week of May, after searching for a H.R. director on LinkedIn, I emailed an H.R. Director, asking for the status, mentioning ghosting was a big issue prior to the lock down, but I'm sure that is something they don't do. No reply.
