J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Indeed (Austin, TX) en nov. 2017
Entretien
The first round was a take-home task. Given a dataset, I was asked to answer a few questions using R or Python. The Second round was a Skype call. They asked me about my cousework, and a simple programming question. The third round was on-site.
During one interview, I remembered that I was asked to solve a real-world problem related to the role. Explaining my thought process confidently impressed the panel, leading to further questions.
Multiple rounds focused on coding, stats, data manipulation, machine learning, & product sense. They tell you before each round the broad topic which you will be interviewed on and you have to show your knowledge to the interviewer through a conversation-style interview.
The HR recruiter met with me and asked for my salary requirements. We both discussed principal roles and Sr. Manager roles. She then "lost" my email of availability. It took over a month for her to schedule an interview and when she did schedule it, she scheduled it for a junior role. The process was infuriating and communication was sporadic at best.
