J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. J'ai passé un entretien chez Indeed (Austin, TX) en oct. 2016
Entretien
Interview consisted of a phone screening and an onsite interview. Phone screening was with an engineer solving basic algorithm problems. On site was drastically harder, it consisted of 3 hour-long whiteboarding questions with 3 different sets of engineers, a lunch, and an 1.5 hour long coding challenge. What struck me the most was just how high a standard they had for their interns. When I arrived and I talked to the other recruits, I was the only person there interviewing for an internship. Not only that, many of the candidates there were completing their masters. Needless to say, being a college underclassmen, I found that being held to the same standards as a masters student for a position that would require way less knowledge and is typically designed to be a learning environment is a little unwarranted. Questions were difficult, I hacked together 2 of the whiteboarding problems and took the entire hour for all three. Coding challenge was more reasonable, you were left in a large conference room with your batch of candidates and were given the problem on Hackerrank. After that, we were given a bag of Indeed trinkets and dismissed. Approximately 1-2 weeks afterwards, they called with the result of the interview process.
