I have a Project Coordinator background and applied for a Product Coordinator position. They called to schedule an interview. I changed my travel plans and spent time preparing for the interview. A day before the interview they canceled it. Why? They turned the blame on me stating my resume better fits Project Coordinator positions. It seems as if they did not read my resume prior to scheduling an interview. They didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Unprofessional and sloppy on their behalf.
