Initially there were 2 technical rounds discussed and 1 managerial. However later it became 3 and 1 managerial. When again all 3 rounds got cleared, then in the managerial round some Lady joined who had 15years of experience in the same company. Started asking about SQL queries, i politely replied that i have not worked extensively on SQL and that's why i have not written on CV and also it has been already discussed with HR that the role i am applying for is not looking for SQL expertise. But the lady said, ll see your thought process. But end up asking muggled up nested query questions. Though i answered most, then she started asking on Big data because she had expertise on that and also stupid questions why you have switched 2 company in 8 years it means you are not a loyal employee and all. The whole time her husband was shouting in the background but she kept repeating there is so much noise coming from your background 😆 Later when i pointed HR why did she shortlisted me when there was DB requirement, she simply said that the role was not for that and even she was not sure why did she ask DB questions. Got to know from one of my seniors there, it's because of the payscale. They didn't want to pay what i was requesting, but my point was that i had conveyed before scheduling interview. Why waste others time for weeks and then say we can't match up your current salary also.

4 rounds. Would suggest to get ensurity from HR personnel before starting with Interview. My experience was very bad and sad experience from Impetus technologies inc HR team, theyconfirmed about the budget before interviewing and later on after clearing all 4 rounds of interview their VP and Senior Director didn’t approve the budget. HR personnel waited till last day of my joining to confirm that they didn’t have the budget to release offer.
