Phone interviews with member of the team, asked to describe experience with similar systems as well as troubleshooting of the system. Started off relatively easy, but we quickly got into the specifics of technical decisions. The nature of the conversation was more curiosity and trying to understand how your head works than it was being grilled on the subject.

3 interviews in all. first interview is with hiring manage over Teams. 2nd interview is in-person, with the senior management of 3 different departments. final interview is with a senior management in the US, over teams.

Mostly focused on my past work and experience. Both technical as well as non technical questions were asked. Some interviewers put a heavy focus on statistics and design of experiments . I was also asked some questions about DNA sequencing and what I know about genomics so far
