Video recording interview, then phone interview with Scientist 2. Four days later I've got on-site interview offer email (at 7 pm) asking to pick 2 or 3 days later. I picked interview date as two days later, then next day I've got an e-mail asking to prepare 20-30 min presentation for the interview. So I had just one day for presentation preparation. On-site interview itself was great. People and atmosphere were very nice. Then two days after interview, I received an e-mail from HR saying that they will move forward with 'strong internal candidate'. I assumed that they already have someone (internal employee) for this position and pretend to do official interview with me. I am pretty sure that I wasted my time and at least one day of working for this fake interview.

In the technical round, I was asked to solve Java problems like star pattern printing, string manipulation, and logic-based tasks like checking even/odd numbers and parsing strings. One question was about accessing specific characters from the end of a string.
