Entretien
I underwent an initial phone interview, then met in-person with two staff members. They clearly want to see commitment to mission, and ask several applied scenario-type questions to test whether you have the skills to do the job. I found the in-person interview to be a bit uncomfortable-- while the questions were reasonable, the interaction felt more like an oral exam than it did a conversation.

Question 1
What would you expect to find if you did a literature review on conscientious objection to abortion? Let's say you could not find anything in the literature, what would be your next steps?
I was contacted for a phone interview, about a week and a half after submitting my materials. The call was with the director of that department, and followed the typical interview format with a series of questions about past experiences and then time for questions. I really did not have that great of an experience which was very disappointing. The interviewer was just firing questions off a list. There was no real response after each question answered, she just moved on to the next so it was hard to gauge what she really wanted. It was not very personal at all, I could also hear her typing while I answered each question and she seemed more focused on that than what I was saying. I was told I would hear back within at most a week and a half but I did not receive any emails. I had to send a follow up email and only then did I find out another person had been given an offer and accepted. If I hadn't emailed, they would not have contacted me. Very disappointing for such a great organization
