Very exhausting interviewing process. They will ask you to complete vignettes and redline drawings prior to interviews.... and they ask you to come in for interviews 4 times at least, which is too many hoops to jump through. They should know that nobody has that kind of time unless he/she is unemployed. They stress on your cultural fit with the firm so much that they do not seriously consider your skills and experience, which should be more important to your credentials. People go to work to get the job done, not to make friends. They also hire an outside consultant who has no knowledge on architecture/design to interview the candidates. How can someone without the foundation of knowledge in architecture evaluate architects?? He is completely missing the target. This is the only firm I have ever worked or interviewed with that takes this unusual approach in interview. My impression is that they are culturally internalized and exclusive so much so that they could actually lose the competition to hire qualified candidates against the other firms.
