First there was a phone interview, then there was an in-person interview during the following days. Everything was conducted by the HR intern at the moment. The phone interview was with solely the HR intern, while the in-person interview was with both the HR intern and the department manager. Everything was very prompt - followup was given almost immediately after every stage.

Applied and received an email for a phone screen. Chatted with the recruiter on the phone for about 15 minutes just to explore my resume. Was then moved forward to a final interview with the hiring manager

Phone screen then passed to the hiring manager for a 1:1. For sure the hardest interview I've had in a long long time. I cannot believe the difficulty for an unpaid internship this caught me by surprise.
