I received a call from HR's Talent Acquisition. After, they set up a 1:1 meeting in the Durham office with the LS manager. The room where I interviewed had a wall pattern that made me dizzy, so it was an off-putting experience.

I was originally contacted by HR for a pre-screen telephone interview, followed by a 1-hour in person interview with the on-site hiring manager; this was then followed by an additional 1-hour phone interview with another staff member on the team. After this point, I was told that "HR would contact me regarding the status of my file, positive or negative." While my formal interviews went fine (in fact, I felt they went very well), my interactions with HR were the most unprofessional that I've experienced in my career thus far. The HR contact for this position has been completely unreachable via both email and the two phone numbers that were provided to me over the past 5 weeks. Additionally, a quite unreasonable amount of time has lapsed since my interviews, despite the fact that I was told that I would have a final decision a month ago. I feel that after dedicating this amount of time toward this opportunity, a final response was warranted; at the same time, I would not want to work for a company with such terrible communication between hiring managers and HR and unprofessionalism of HR staff.
