People who I interviewed with were nice and curious, they are very fashion driven. If you don't have a career or familiarity with fashion I think it's gonna be hard to advance in the process
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Hypebeast (New York, NY)
Entretien
Started with a phone interview > then a video interview with the senior social media coordinator > next, a 24 hour writing and photoshop assignment (not compensated) > and unfortunately I did not progress further after that assignment

How do you stay up to date on trends and industry insights?

Got invited to the first call then they disappeared for weeks. The interview was led by the chief and a senior member of staff. They asked generic and specific brand questions like name me 5 brands I like and why. Then asked what I would do differently with their socials. I don’t know if I should have answered the last question honestly because after that interview the HR person didn’t get back to me for over 2+ weeks then said that the role was closed due to a hiring freeze. Then I see that Threads came out and their tone of voice and language completely changed compared to their IG & Twitter. I was shocked. Did they set this up because they needed ideas for their socials at hbx? They mentioned that this would be the first hire for socials but then it seemed they had a social media manager already…
