      Recently I applied for an had an initial interview with Hyland Software for a Technical Support Analyst position. The interview was about 45 minutes and pretty straight forward, i thought. The last question what was the expected amount i was looking for. I gave a low end salary for an experience tech support engineer, she said that is good amount and that i would be hearing from them in the next week for the next interview. 2 weeks went by and no word, so i contacted both the initial recruiter who set up the interview and the person I interviewed with. No response, not even a auto reply that they would look into it. Then a week later i get a reply telling me that they hired someone else. Now the facts of it, during the initial interview, i was told that there were multiple position available and that it would require to join their training class for 8 weeks in OH. I said that wasn't a problem, since i was already geared to relocate. Now suddenly there was only one position available. Now after myself and others interviewed for the job, the position was removed, now that were being told that the position was relisted again a day later. The truth is I asked for more money then they are willing to pay. They wanted someone with at least 2 years experience i have 5. They only want to pay entry level salaries and if you ask for more then that, you are automatically disqualified. I has three other friends who also had interviewed with Hyland over the last year, and all three had the same problem, One of which the recruiter told him straight out that was the case, off the record. By looking at the other reviews of this company and the careers of a lot of their people via linked, you can see they like to hire right out of school. This is fine, but if you want to build a strong company, you need people with experience to help reach those goals and beyond, and your going to have to pay them for their experience.

      Hiring process is very good with the phone interview and the face to face interview. The whole process is very straight forward, and they are nice to handle to interview. Was very a good interview and interviewers are great to give you time to explain your answers clearly.

      The process was very fast and punctual. First stage phone interview. Second stage skype interview. Third stage online contract. Very easy and clear. Personal questions about your background mostly and also checking the way you think.

      Entretien

      The application process was online, via the company website. From there I was requested to attend a phone interview with a HR person from the US. Following the discussion, a few days I was asked to attend an onsite interview with the department manager at the Melbourne office. Subsequently, I was asked to provide further documentations in relation to qualifications and background check, etc. Subsequent to this, an offer was made. The whole process was seamless and took just over 4 weeks. I found the people involved were fair, friendly and professional.
