Applied online through Hyatt’s careers website for a position at The Park Hyatt Toronto. The following day I received an email from HR that they would like to schedule an interview. Confirmed an interview date and time for the following week. Over the weekend I contracted Covid (tested positive). Emailed immediately and let the HR contact I had been speaking with know of the situation and asked to move the interview virtually or to reschedule to a later date. No response. Followed up again and asked to reschedule. The HR person said they were sorry to hear I was unwell and they would reach out to reschedule. I then immediately responded to that email and provided alternate dates. No response. It has now been three weeks with no further follow up from them. Disappointing as I was truly excited about the role I was going to interview for.
