The interviewer seemed somewhat defensive and closed off and the overall interview process took approximately 2 or more months just to tell me that my resume was impressive but they chose to go another route than me.

great / professional /personable. Good interviewers asking adequate questions yet also flows with the conversation vs checking off a list. All questions relevant. Every interview has felt like a natural conversation.

The phone interview went very well and an in person interview was scheduled. I arrived for the interview and the person who was set to interview me never showed up and had no idea she was supposed to interview me that day. I reached out to HR, they profusely apologized and said they would contact me soon to reschedule. A week went by with radio silence on their behalf, I sent a follow up email to ask them what the status was and they apologized and said they were working on rescheduling it. I never heard back from them again, only a canned email from HR stating that they had moved on to someone else and thanking me for my interest in the position. I have ten plus years of banking experience and never experienced a bank so unorganized, it makes sense that they would be merging with TCF.
