I sent my resume and cover letter via the website and got a call about a week later. She told me I had the preliminary qualifications and we did a "phone interview." A few days later I was invited to come in for an interview with my would-be supervisor. Spent about an hour and a half with the interviewer, provided me a lot of info about workplace and answered my questions.
