I applied online and received an invitation within 3 hours for a Zoom interview to be held two days later. The interview was with the individual that would have been my manager, if I had gotten the position. The interview process itself was really good - it was an introduction to the team, what the role would be like, and for me to introduce myself. I had thought I had knocked the interview out of the park and was told that I would be getting another interview. However, one week later, I received a generic email indicating they would not be pursuing me for the role - which was shocking, considering I am very much qualified for the job and it was my understanding I was advancing in the interview process. I sent a follow up email to the interviewer thanking them for their time and asking for feedback - which was met with silence.
