Hiring manager reached out to me via LinkedIn and ended up completely wasting my time. He put me through 2 rounds of interviews with other employees and those interviews went well. He was my last and final interview and had me doing all these random tasks like I was a trick dog at the circus, jumping through hoops. All for him to say at the end, “if you don’t hear from me by the end of the day tomorrow then that means we went in a different direction”. For a person that reached out to me, totally unsolicited, via LinkedIn I’d think he would’ve had the courtesy to just send a simple message saying I didn’t get the job. I’ve heard and read other similar reviews where people simply had their time wasted. I’m not sure if the manager just wants to look busy or like he’s trying at his job by contacting people for dead end interviews or what, but it was most certainly an unpleasant experience.
