The process was long and frequently unclear. The recruiter was an unreliable source of insight. Their role was simply managing the process and getting you to agree. The interview briefs were often inaccurate. Many of the technical abilities specified as requirements turned out to be irrelevant, as the the role wasn't properly prepared.
