Where do I even start. This was by far the worst interview process I’ve ever been a part of. NINE conversations for a non senior level role over the course of a month. I basically had the same interview 6 times with the same questions being asked over and over again. Hopper is one of those “tech” companies that seems to believe what they are doing is changing the world and unique, when in reality they are just copying a first mover and figuring things out on the fly. Totally contradicted themselves multiple times throughout the interview process and showed multiple red flags in leadership style. Don’t even think about questioning what they are doing during your interview process; egos galore at the senior management level and they will get extremely defensive. Don’t waste your time, because they will certainly look to waste yours. They clearly have no idea what they are looking for and will certainly scare off top talent with their practices.
