I was required to complete a written test for the interview, which involved writing a 200 words response to "Why should we hire you?" within 1 hr deadline. The HR sent the test at a different time that I was available, which had to follow up some calls and email.
I attended an in-person interview at their office. The office itself was bright and clean, which gave a good first impression. However, I noticed a lack of warmth in the environment—neither the receptionist, the HR lady, nor any of the staff I saw in the elevator or waiting area offered a smile or seemed welcoming. Overall, the people in the office didn’t come across as friendly, which left me with a less positive impression of the workplace culture.
Additionally, the HR staff (Ma) seemed unclear about the interview procedures for candidates; often responded with "I don’t know, I’m not sure" during our calls and emails, which added to the confusion.
I wouldn’t recommend this workplace, since the design center positions itself as a leader in the industry. The staff came across as dull and unfriendly, which feels like a stark contrast to the vibrant and collaborative spirit the creative industry should embody in our society.
