I first interviewed with Hi Marley back in July 2023 from a referral. I had a great convo with Sarah who asked a lot about what I do and a lot about who I am. At first, the role I was looking for wasn't exactly what the company was hiring for but she took me further into the process to meet the team and explore opportunities to work together. After a pause, we connected again to continue the process we left off with the position I was better aligned with. I had the chance to present in detail a technical problem that I had worked on in the past, one that I could practice articulating really well and answer technical questions on. This immediately felt like a systems design meeting where I'm presenting a design to engineers on my team, the team had a great ability to assess my designs and ask engaging questions without nitpicking with leet-code problems. Follow-up interviews were a chance to meet the team and talk more about the company and all the interesting problems at hand. Between interviews and onboarding, Hi Marley has been incredibly welcoming and quick to respond, they genuinely cared about where I fit in and were always proactive in keeping me up-to-date.
