Note that they were really looking for customer support and not success at this point. You will be mainly dealing with support tickets and onboarding due to their volume. Clearly a new company with poor interview structure. Recruiter call, hiring manager call, and then a NONSTOP 4.5 hrs. of back to back 30 min. interviews with all the head of departments and some other peers. Honestly, the process was fine until this huge time investment with half of the entire company and no structured breaks. 2-3 of people didn't really have anything to speak about and it felt like a personality screening really. The only breaks during this process was when these 2-3 individuals ran out of things to talk about. Questions or exercises (they make you run some exercises) weren't hard, but when you've been interviewing back to back for 3-4 hrs it makes it extremely difficult due to fatigue. Terrible experience, because of it. Felt like bootcamp even though many people were personable. At the end recruiter did not even reach back out.

Question 1
Very standard, nothing special. On the bootcamp style interviews you will be asked to explain typical situations as well as mock troubleshoot situations.

Overall terrible candidate experience, and if this is a reflection of how they treat their employees, please run away! Clearly, a new company with poor interview structure Recruiter call, hiring manager call, all over a span of 4 months! It seems like they don't know what they are doing or what they want. 4 hours of back-to-back 30-minute interviews with all the heads of departments and some other peers Honestly, the process was fine until this huge time investment with half of the entire company and the lack of transparency on when decisions would be made. It felt like a huge waste of time and resources to interview, even though many people were personable. The recruiter consistently didn't reach out with updates until I had to ask for them.

Why Customer success? How do you prioritize your book of business? What were your metrics that you were measured on? What strategies did you implement in your last role?

This was definitely one of the more poorly organized and miscommunicated interviewing experiences I've had. I'm giving it a neutral rating because the team was at least warm and welcoming, but the communication was extremely poor. After speaking with the hiring manager, I was told I would have a phone conversation with one of the founders. 10 minutes after that scheduled call time, the founder e-mails me a Zoom link so I can hop on and chat with him(instead of a phone call). Luckily I was ready and dressed for video chatting.

Question 1
The usual STAR questions. Asked a lot about the content on my resume, so be prepared to speak about that.
