J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez HeyJobs en janv. 2022

      Entretien

A Heyjobs recruiter approached me via Linkedin and after finding the job interesting, I let him know I was down for it. So he sent me a calendar invite to provide my availability which I did duly. What's funny, annoying, disgusting and all sorts of the bad names, is that the recruiter started commanding me to have the first interview immediately on the same day yet I had scheduled for the same the following week; as that was the only day I was available to do an interview. Fast forward, the recruiter canceled my application despite me not requesting him to do so for I was keen to interview for the role; as I had scheduled for the interview remember. As if that's not enough, he went on to block me on Linkedin and email as well. I therefore never heard from him again. Two months later, I re-applied for the same job and looks like he remembers my details and immediately sent me a rejection email asap I had submitted my application. This sucks. Applicants should be treated with fairness. Whenever they(applicants) submit their availability for interviews recruiters should not force them to have the interview at the times they(recruiters) think it's working for them(recruiters). What the recruiter did and still does to me whenever I apply for roles at Heyjobs is totally uncalled for. As an applicant who wants to work at Heyjobs, I think recruiters need to stop being so selfish, dictators, and close-minded and respect applicants' scheduling, and stop canceling/terminating their interviews just because they didn't accept their demands to have interviews at his preferred time and day. Everyone needs equal treatment not only for interviews but in all aspects of life. I condemn the recruiter's actions and hope Heyjobs will take this seriously and make the hiring process fair, accountable and transparent. I still want to continue with my interview at Heyjobs without biased recruiters making it so difficult. This is because I love the company and meet all the requirements highlighted in the Job Description(the recruiter even approved this before he began acting so unprofessional and weirdly).
