While I understand multi-tasking during WFH during the pandemic, I did not think it was appropriate for the HR recruiter to do their dishes while interviewing a candidate. Yes. Unfortunately, I could hear the running water then the dishwasher. The interviewer also came across as unprepared to answer my questions. Finally, I was ghosted. It was so unprofessional, I was glad I don't work there. I certainly thought they could do better. People don't realize that they are the face of the brand and bad behavior erodes brand equity forever.
