Straightforward questions about a job but was told they'd get back to me to see if the salary is negotiable above their 50-55k per recruiter. Instead of telling me no, she tells me she'll reach out to the manager to see if it's negotiable and would get back to me on Monday. I got an email the next day on Saturday with the rejection. That's ok but why not be transparent up front? If there's no movement in salary then why not just say that? Seems like she wanted to avoid that type of conversation and that says alot about the people you work with.
