6 separate interviews over 4 weeks, with a written 48 hour assignment - all interviews 30-40mins via google meets, none in person. All interviews were very formal, with corporate undertone to them, and very marketing-focused questions for a creative role. Started off with a call with Hiring manager who immediately set up the next interview with Creative Director, who asked questions related to my experience, the role and creativity/production. Next interview with a marketer, who asked very specific questions about D2C marketing (not so much creative) and other questions that put me on the spot for ideas. Next interview with a creative, who again, asked questions related to my experience, the role and creativity/production. At this point I was set a written assessment within 48 hours, to write a case study on a previous project I had worked on that had created growth. I was told by hiring manager that the next two interviews would be to discuss this assessment. Neither of the interviews asked a single question about the assessment and when asked about it, neither had even read it. Next interview with CMO, who asked more personally-based questions. Next interview with another marketer, who phrased questions in a very confusing manor, making them very hard to understand and therefore answer. Very marketing-based and again, not creative focused at all. A week later, I was sent an email from the hiring manager explaining that they chose to go with another candidate who has experience in building out teams and driving social creative innovation.
